August 11, 2005 - Environmental Protection Agency, Region 8
GRX is pleased to have been selected by the EPA to recycle over 3 tons of e-waste from its Region 8 office in Denver. This follows a successful on-site audit by the EPA in May. EPA is responsible for encouraging other Federal Agencies to adopt responsible practices in the disposition of obsolete electronic equipment. GRX's demonstrated capabilities have already led the Region 8 office of EPA to recommend the company as a potential recycler for the Fedsource operation in Denver.

July 2005 - Eco-Cycle
Following the successful collaboration between Eco-Cycle and GRX at the University of Colorado collection event last month, Eco-Cycle has decided to utilize GRX as its primary end-of-life electronics recycler. Eco-Cycle collects about 65-75,000 lbs of e-waste per month from residents and businesses in Boulder and Broomfield counties and had previously been incurring significant costs sorting, palletizing and shrink-wrapping material for shipment to a recycler in California. By stationing 50 of its 270-gallon polyethylene totes at its yard in Boulder, GRX has eliminated these costs. When the totes are full, Eco-Cycle delivers the e-waste to GRX's plant in Denver and picks up 50 empties to take back to Boulder. Apart from the cost savings to Eco-Cycle, the switch to GRX has generated significant energy and environmental benefit by eliminating the movement of 3 trailers per month between Colorado and California.
